I have a passion for food and a passion for travel. I have a mad fiery passion for writing. I always figured it would only be a matter of time before I started a blog. My goal here is to tell a good story, and offer a few suggestions for places to see and eat in the areas I have visited. When I find something that is truly amazing, I want to share it!

I am a professional potter and craft show vendor, so I travel a fair amount for work. Beyond that, I spend as much of my free time as I can traveling, eating, and generally having new experiences. I try to meet the locals and find art and music wherever I go. I live for amazing views and for nature in general. Being outdoors is everything. I hike a lot; I swim where I’m not supposed to. As far as I’m concerned, if I can drive a hundred miles, hike 7 miles, kayak 5 miles, swim in some cold lake to clean off the sweat, and then go for a decadent meal, it has been a perfect day.

My life wasn’t always like this, though. There was a time when I hadn’t traveled anywhere alone. I was scared to, kind of shy, but there were a million things that I wanted to do, see, and taste. One day I realized that I was never going to do most of the things I wanted to if I waited around for life to happen to me. I couldn’t wait for friends or boyfriends to take me with them or show me that it was safe; I had to get in my car and go. So I did. That is where the ‘no regrets’ part of this blog comes in. Every post that I share is a result of the decision to shove hesitation aside and just dive in.

I’m a recent college graduate with a part-time job and a lot of spare time. So instead of staying stagnant I make sure to visit old friends, explore new places, and expand upon my interests. As of lately it’s been making my own recipes at home that cater to my food allergies and taste like they’re out of a restaraunt, but I make sure I try out any new opportunities that come my way.

In the past few years I’ve found great deals like free New York City bus trips to all the museums, I’ve explored the outdoors through hiking, climbing, and camping, played in bands all the way to Ithaca and all the way down to Brooklyn, and try out delicious dishes everywhere I go. I am equally exhiliarated  by making a batch of cookies for a night in or a joyride along windy streets to beautiful veiws close by. There is always something to see, taste, and try no matter where you are.

I may not know what will come next for me, but I’m definetly enjoying the journey. And documenting these stories and ideas for anyone who is interested is how I define the No Regrets Guide.
